Operation Disabled Vote

Yesterday saw the launch of Operation Disabled Vote, a campaign to increase the number of disabled people voting in next years election. Disability has been highlighted as a factor in low election turnouts due to problems with the accessibility of registering and voting. There are hopes that increased numbers of registered disabled people will drive politicians to write manifestos and legislation with disabled people in mind.
